  • ASTI started business relationship with UMTP International to provide UML training and certification in China.

2004

  • ASTI was certified by IEEE computer society International Committee as one of training partners. It is the first and only one CSDP (Certified Software Development Professional) provider in China.
  • ASTI established Xi¡¯an branch.
  • ASTI was chosen as the co-founder and vice president company of Shanghai Information Development Research Association. And Prof. Dehua Ju, the vice chairman of ASTI, was awarded as 2003 IT outstanding leader in Shanghai.

  • ASTI signed a contract with Fannie Mae US, Fortune 500 company, to provide system migration service to them with the support of our reverse engineering and modeling tools (ASTI/READ).

2002

  • ASTI proposed Shanghai municipal government to host ¡°Global Software Outsourcing Summit¡± and ¡°28th International Computer Software Engineering¡± in Shanghai.
  • ASTI got the ISO 9001:2000 version certification
  • ASTI announced an IT technology resources website ¨C ITURLS, which is the first one and the most popular IT center to transfer information and technology. It won the golden medal of ¡°Xinghuo¡± Cup Excellent Creation and Invention.

2001-2002

  • ASTI signed contracts with Taiwan Nanyang Industries Inc., Shanghai BaoSteel, Shanghai Volkswagen, and Danone China to provide e-Business enterprise solutions, such as CRM and ERP etc.

  • ASTI has chairmanships with Shanghai Software Quality Consortium(SSQC), Shanghai SPIN, QAI, as well as playing leading roles in China Software Industry Association (CSIA) and Shanghai Software Industry Association (SSIA).

  • ASTI started long-term partnership with a commercial bank in New Yorkproviding the consulting, application solutions, software system development and support services to them. The financial solutions include ATM Interface system, Internet Banking system, Remittance system and Monetary Instruments Processing system etc.

  • ASTI established an offshore testing center for a global leading financial software vendor.

  • Two subsidiary companies started operation in China. ASTI Shanghai is located in Caohejing Hi-tech Park and ASTI Beijing is in Shangdi information industry base.

  • Our form-based tool product ¡°FormCASE¡± was used in Shanghai railway system development. Also ¡°FormCASE¡± was chosen by American sanitation bureau as a main developed tool and environment for their system development.

  • Our Hi-tech product ¡°CASE Tool¡± won the second state technology advancement award and the first Shanghai technology advancement award.

1990

  • ASTI (Application Solutions & Technologies Inc.) was registered in Maryland, US by American venture capital, focusing on developing CASE tools and environments.
Our customer, a commercial bank in US, realized that Internet banking is on a track to become a strategic necessity to promote its competitive position. ASTI, as their long term consulting services and software development provider, finally was selected to implement internet banking solution for them¡­¡­

iNTACS e.V. (registered association) was founded as a non-profit organisation on May 11th, 2006. 27 representatives of different companies from 15 countries signed the foundation protocol. Peter Bölter (SQS AG) was unanimously elected President of iNTACS e.V. The Vice Presidents are Dr. Ludger Meyer (Siemens CT) and Prof. Dr. Dehua Ju (ASTI Shanghai, China). Klaus Dehmel (Delphi Grundig) has been elected to the board as well.
Within the registered association iNTACS e.V., representatives of consultancies, automotive industry, finance and supply industry come together as well as scientists and researchers. The association is based in Berlin. One of its tasks is to provide for a worldwide standardised training for SPiCE assessors.
Prof. Hindel had initiated the official foundation after he had been pushing the idea of this standard training together with former representatives of the Bootstrap Institute and the SPiCE user group since 2003.
The International Assessor Certification Scheme (iNTACS) has been developed in response to requests from industry for the purpose of education and certification of process assessors compliant to ISO/IEC 15504.

ACM SIGSOFT and IEEE Computer Society recognize Dehua Ju for Outstanding Contributions to the Software Engineering Community as Conference Coordination Committee Co-Chair of the 28th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2006)

Prof. Dehua Ju won the Lifetime Achievements Award for Software Engineering Excellence from United Cultural Convention, U.S.

In Global Year of Science 2006, Prof. Dehua Ju has been officially awardedThe Archimedes Award for significant contributions to Software Engineering Research and Education, given by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.
Prof. Dehua Ju accepted an honor invitation to be the founding member of the International Assessor Certification Scheme (iNTACS) Association and elected as a board member of iNTACS, to jointly promote the international standard for software process improvement SPiCE/ ISO 15504.
