iNTACS e.V. (registered association) was founded as a non-profit organisation on May 11th, 2006. 27 representatives of different companies from 15 countries signed the foundation protocol. Peter Bölter (SQS AG) was unanimously elected President of iNTACS e.V. The Vice Presidents are Dr. Ludger Meyer (Siemens CT) and Prof. Dr. Dehua Ju (ASTI Shanghai, China). Klaus Dehmel (Delphi Grundig) has been elected to the board as well.
Within the registered association iNTACS e.V., representatives of consultancies, automotive industry, finance and supply industry come together as well as scientists and researchers. The association is based in Berlin. One of its tasks is to provide for a worldwide standardised training for SPiCE assessors.
Prof. Hindel had initiated the official foundation after he had been pushing the idea of this standard training together with former representatives of the Bootstrap Institute and the SPiCE user group since 2003.
The International Assessor Certification Scheme (iNTACS) has been developed in response to requests from industry for the purpose of education and certification of process assessors compliant to ISO/IEC 15504.

ACM SIGSOFT and IEEE Computer Society recognize Dehua Ju for Outstanding Contributions to the Software Engineering Community as Conference Coordination Committee Co-Chair of the 28th International Conference on Software Engineering (ICSE 2006)

Prof. Dehua Ju won the Lifetime Achievements Award for Software Engineering Excellence from United Cultural Convention, U.S.

In Global Year of Science 2006, Prof. Dehua Ju has been officially awardedThe Archimedes Award for significant contributions to Software Engineering Research and Education, given by International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England.
Prof. Dehua Ju accepted an honor invitation to be the founding member of the International Assessor Certification Scheme (iNTACS) Association and elected as a board member of iNTACS, to jointly promote the international standard for software process improvement SPiCE/ ISO 15504.
